Pre Blue & Gold Bowl - Racers Appear At All-Campus Sing
4/13/2011 7:31:20 PM | Football
The Murray State Football squad took part in the annual All-Campus Sing at the quad area Wednesday.
The football team has developed a tradition of being part of the festivities and this time their appearance at the event was a great way to make sure everyone is making plans to come out and watch the Racers play their annual spring game, the Blue & Gold Bowl, Thursday at Roy Stewart Stadium.
The gates at Stewart Stadium open at 4:30pm and admission is free for everyone.
Free hotdogs and soft drinks will be available at 5 p.m. and there will also be a punt, Pass and Kick competition for Kids ages 6-12 years old at 5:45pm on the field. The fastest person on campus will also be decided before the game begins.
As part of the Blue & Gold Game, the first and fourth quarters will feature flag football between the Greeks and Intramurals. The women's teams play first, followed by the real Racers for the middle two quarters, then the men's flag football teams finish by playing the fourth quarter.
There will also be plenty of time for fans to get autographs and pictures before play begins.
The Racers Spirit groups will be there and of course, Racer 1.
