The Murray State football team held their second to last scrimmage of the spring practice season at Roy Stewart Stadium in Murray, Ky.
The format used set situations of first down-10 yards, third down-long and goal line play from the four-yard line as well as some regular drives with the ball moving after gains or losses.

With the Blue-Gold Bowl coming up Thursday, MSU Head Coach Chris Hatcher assessed the live action from Saturday morning.
“I think as the week progressed, we got a little fatigued and we've got some positions on defense especially at safety and linebacker where we're a little nicked up,” Hatcher said. “The first part of the scrimmage was geared toward defense. We slowed things down to help them get line up and I thought they played pretty well. The offense had the upper hand later.”

Tyler Lavea– 17 rush, 97 yards, 5 TD
Duane Brady– 15 rush, 32 yards, 2 TD
