Racers Set Preseason Practice Schedule

As the calendar nears August, the final preparations are underway for the 2011 football season to begin. Murray State is finalizing its camp roster, with the players set to report July 31. Following three administrative days of meetings with athletic department personnel and team pictures, the Racers will take the field for their first official practice on Aug. 3.

The Racers are scheduled to hold 29 practices leading up the season opener at Louisville on Sept. 1. The game will begin at 5 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

All practices are open to the media and public. Practice times are subject to change without notice. Head Coach Chris Hatcher reserves the right to close any practice.
