Racers Conduct First Practice in Pads

The Murray State football team conducted its first practice in pads amidst sunny skies Tuesday afternoon on the turf at Stewart Stadium.
"I thought day three was a very spirited workout," said head coach Chris Hatcher. "It was a beautiful day for practice. I really saw some good things and see some new guys we signed are going to be good players for us. Hunter Hogan has really stood out on the offensive line. Also, a couple of those defensive tackles we brought in are going to solidify the defensive line this season."
The Racers return to the field Thursday afternoon for their first practice in full pads. Practice is set to beging at 3:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
