Racer Nation Asked to Help Those Effected by Recent Storms

This Sunday, members of the MSU Governor's Scholars Program – College Community (GSP-CC) organization will be accepting donations to benefit the victims of the recent storms and tornadoes in Southern Illinois at the Racer Dance Party. Volunteers will be at the entrance of Racer Arena from 3:30 p.m. until the end of the selection show to accept donations of toiletries and gently used clothing, linens and other house hold items. The items that are donated will be given to the Southern Illinois United Way, who will distribute them to those in need after the storms. All donations will gladly be accepted.

There will also be a donation box to collect these items at this weekend's baseball games at Reagan Field. The Breds will play against the Purdue Boilermakers at 2 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
