Fishing With the Racers

Murray State Head Football Coach Chris Hatcher recently spent a morning on Kentucky Lake with Bill Rouse and Bill Wilson fishing with Van's Guide Service of Benton.
Rouse had the winning bid for the outing at the Sneakers & Scholarships benefit auction in May.
The guided fishing excursion of the lake was just one of several unique items auctioned at the annual event. Other unique items included a charter-coach trip for 20 to Maker's Mark for a VIP Lunch and Tour of the distillery, a trip with the football team on their chartered flight to the season opener at Florida State, a trip with the men's basketball team to their game this December at Evansville and a chance to host your own private group in the President's Box at a home football game this season.
As can be seen by the photograph, the trio had a successful morning catching Stripers, the largest which tipped the scales at 11 pounds. Pictured, from left to right, is Bill Wilson, Coach Hatcher and Bill Rouse.
