The offensive line returns three starters from a unit that helped lead the way for the one of the top offenses in the FCS a season ago.
The unit is led by senior right tackle Roderick Tomlin. He has started 26-straight games, with the previous 22 starts coming at right tackle.
The right side of the offensive line also features two-year starter Andy Mahoney. Like Tomlin, Mahoney has started at right guard in all 22 games the previous season.
Junior Harris Bivin returns as the starting center after starting the final five games a season ago. Bivin and senior Brock Rydecki have split time at center each of the last two seasons.
The left side of the offensive line will be new this season as sophomore Drew Kelley takes over at left tackle. Kelly gained valuable experience as a true freshman at right tackle, as well as serving as a blocking tight end.
Sophomore Zach Littlefield returns after appearing in six games as a true freshman. He saw his first collegiate action against MVSU, before earning the start at left guard against Jacksonville State.
Redshirt freshman Robert Olive has worked hard in the offseason and will push for playing time at the guard position.
Junior Hunter Hogan joined the Racers at semester and will push for the starting nod at left guard. Hogan came from Tyler Junior College where he was a second-team all-SWJCFC selection a season ago.
Freshman center Corey Gammon joins the Racers after earning all-state honors at East High School.
The Racers will return to the practice field tonight at 6:30 p.m. They will close out camp with a scrimmage Friday afternoon at 2:45 at Stewart Stadium.
