RESULTSÂ
Murray State senior Delaney Howson earned her second medalist honor of the season Tuesday at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate at the Clarksville Country Club in Clarksville, Tenn. The Racers placed second overall in the tournament with scores of 296-312=608.

Howson claimed the title with scores of 66-74=140 to finish the tournament 4-under-par. Howson tied the tournament record for low round (previously 66, Lourdes Lopez, Jacksonville State, 2011 set at The Links at Novadell). Howson's 66 is the lowest round shot at the tournament when played at Clarksville Country Club (previously 70, Lee-Ann Pace, Murray State, 2003).

Jacksonville State won the tournament with scores of 314-293=607 to finish one stroke better than the Racers.Â

Sophie Hillier had the next best finish for the Racers after carding scores of 75-79=154 to tie for 12th place. Minta Yin had scores of 76-80=152 to finish in 18th place, while Sydney Trimble carded 79-79=156 for 25th place. Rounding out the field for the Racers was Jackie Van Meter who shot scores of 83-80=163 for a spot in 45th place.

In individual play, Gina Nuzzo tied for 22nd place after shooting scores of 77-80=157. Abbi Stamper had scores of 81-81=162 for 43rd place while Leah Rose Judd carded 86-87=173 for 74th place.

Other team scores included Eastern Kentucky (609), Belmont (617), Houston Baptist (620), Radford (623), Austin Peay (624), Tennessee Tech (635), Lipscomb (638), Northern Kentucky (641), Towson (648), SIUE (654), Eastern Illnois (661) and Tennessee State (706).

The Clarksville Country Club played to a par of 72 and 5,960 yards.

The Racers will enjoy a short break before competing at the Old Fort Golf Course for the Blue Raider Invitational (Oct. 21-22) in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
