Athletics Marketing Wins National Award...Again

For the second consecutive year, the Murray State athletics marketing department was honored with a prestigious national marketing award by the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) for the 2012-13 year.
Murray State won silver in the category of Promotional/Schedule Poster in Group Two, with Temple winning the gold and Wofford College winning the bronze.
"I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Justin Kimbro and K-Squared Designs, said Morris White, Director of Marketing and Promotions. "Justin has done a tremendous job with our designs not only for schedule posters, but for online items as well. I'm very happy to share this honor with him".
Initiated in 2003, the NACMA awards program honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 13 categories, with each category divided into three groups based on school size and conference affiliation to promote fairness. An association record of more than 1,000 entries were received for the 2012-13 year. The winners were recognized during NACMA's 22nd Annual Convention at the awards ceremony last Friday, June 14 in Orlando, Fla.
