Â
The game is slated to tip-off at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m.
Â
Members of United Way will hand out informational cards to fans as they enter the CFSB Center and white balloons will be provided to Murray State students. Additionally, Stampede members will receive custom sunglasses and water bottles while supplies last. Students are encouraged to arrive early to the game.
Â
The purpose of the annual event is to promote the national initiative and brand of United Way, but also to encourage the idea of connectivity between local businesses, the community and the improvement of the quality of life in the area.
Â
"We're thrilled to once again partner with United Way of Murray-Calloway County," said Morris White, Director of Marketing and Promotions. "The atmosphere for the white out the last two years has been electric and we're looking forward to a great crowd."
Â
As additional incentive for Murray State students, head coach Steve Prohm tweeted that he will buy pizza for the fraternity or sorority that has the most in attendance and the highest energy.
