Lee Picks Up 5th OVC Newcomer Honor

For the fifth time this season, Jashae Lee has been named as the adidas® OVC Newcomer of the Week honors, the league announced on Tuesday. Lee has now earned the honor more than any other player in the league this season.
Lee was once again solid for the Racers last week, averaging 8.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. She also tallied three assists and one block over the two-game span.
She played a big role in MSU's near come-back at EIU, finishing the game with 12 points and a team-high nine boards. Lee also sank two 3-pointers in the game and was 4-of-5 at the line.
This weekend Lee and teammates will return home for two games at The Bank. On Saturday afternoon, Murray State will host Jacksonville State, before welcoming Tennessee Tech on Monday evening.
