James Earns Ohio Valley Conference Honor

For the first time this season, Ke'Shunan James was named Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week.
Against Lipscomb, she scored 18 points and grabbed down eight rebounds. In both losses during the Ball State Federal Credit Union Thanksgiving Classic, she was one rebound away from having a double-double. When facing Ball State, she scored a team high 20 points, and pulled down a team high nine rebounds. Against Jackson State, she again grabbed nine rebounds, and put up 17 points for the Racers. Her nine rebounds are her career-high that she reached twice in back-to-back games.
James averaged 18.3 points, and 8.7 rebounds in the three games against Lipscomb, Ball State, and Jackson State. She shot .514 from the field, and .462 from behind the arc. She tallied six assists and three steals over the week.
Murray State will face Evansivlle Wednesday Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. at the CFSB Center.
