Stampede Member Sent to NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS---The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced Caitlin Dunaway, a freshman at Murray State, as the thirteenth winner of its Division I men's basketball National Weekly Ticket Giveaway. Ms. Dunaway was randomly selected to receive four tickets to the Memphis Regional, March 27 and 29.
As a result of the giveaway, Caitlin Dunaway and Murray State athletics both will be featured on NCAA.com at the following link: http://www.ncaa.com/national-ticket-giveaway.
"Murray State is excited to use this platform to engage directly with our students, specifically, our Stampede members to offer them the ultimate college basketball experience," said Morris White, Director of Marketing and Promotions, Murray State. "All season, we encouraged Stampede members to submit their name and I'm extremely happy that Caitlin was chosen to represent the Racers."
The National Weekly Ticket Giveaway gave fans at every Division I school a chance to win 2014 NCAA tournament tickets awarded by random drawing each week from November 12, 2013 through March 10, 2014. Over the15-week course of the sweepstakes, the NCAA and participating Division I schools awarded 60 tickets to fans that registered through their school for the weekly drawing.
The weekly winner had a choice to receive four tickets to one of the following:
"The NCAA recognizes the incredible value that our students and fans bring to the excitement of NCAA Basketball throughout the regular season," said Dan Gavitt, NCAA vice president of men's basketball, "This promotion provides us an opportunity to show our fans that the madness of NCAA Basketball is not limited to March."
