Women's Golf Ends Regular Season

RESULTS
Sunday aftertoon the Murray State women's golf team competed in a dual match versus Southern Illinois U. at the Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo. After 18 holes the two teams stood even with team scores of 319 to leave the day a draw.

Jacklyn Van Meter led the Racers in second place with a score of 78 while Delaney Howson and Minta Yin carded 80 to tie for third place. Sydney Trimble fired a round of 81 for a sixth place finish while Abbi Stamper rounded out team play in eighth place after carding a round of 82.

In individual play, Sophie Hillier ended the day in 13th place with a round of 86, Gina Nuzzo fired a round of 87 for 14th place while Leah Rose Judd carded an 88 to round out the playing field of 16 players.

This dual marks the end of regular season play for the Racers as they prepare for the 2014 OVC Golf Championship to take place at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at the Shoals in Muscle Shoals, Ala. (April 21-23).
