Back-to-Back Extra-Inning Games
Murray State played back-to-back extra-inning conference games against Eastern Illinois. It marked the second time in as many seasons the Breds have played two-straight extra-inning games in an OVC series. Last season, MSU played 10 innings in the final two games of the Tennessee Tech series.
Extra-Inning Comeback
The Breds needed a 10th inning rally to defeat Eastern Illinois in the middle game of a three-game series. Trailing by one run, MSU loaded the bases with two walks and a fielder's choice bunt that did not record an out. Kollin Dowdy was then hit by a pitch and Michael Hargrove walked on four pitches to push across the winning run.

Kollin Dowdy opened the Eastern Illinois series by hitting three doubles and driving in four runs. He delivered a two-run double in the 4th, and then hit RBI doubles in the sixth and seventh innings.
