The intensity was high Thursday morning as Murray State conducted their 12th practice of the preseason on the turf at Stewart Stadium. The Racers will hold practices Friday and Saturday morning before breaking camp.
"We still have a lot of work to do. We are not where we started, of course, but we made a lot of progress," said head coach Chris Hatcher. "We just have to come out every day with a purpose about ourselves."
The wide receivers and corner backs provided the most physical period of practice. The period consisted of the receivers working on their blocks, while the corners attempted to shed the block and make the tackle.
The Racers will return to practice Friday morning at 8 a.m., before breaking camp with an 8 a.m. practice Saturday morning.
