Murray State began its first full week of camp with a padded practice Monday morning on the turf at Stewart Stadium. The team worked out for under two hours.
"I was a little bit disappointed," said head coach Chris Hatcher. "I thought we were a little bit sluggish to start practice and I don't know if it was because we had yesterday off. The tempo was about average. We try to get out and practice as fast as we can. I just don't think we had everybody on the same page today."
The team will practice in shells again Tuesday (8 a.m.) before holding their first scrimmage of the preseason on Wednesday at 8 a.m. All practice are open to the public.
