Folke's 70 Leads Racers In Cincy Finish

Murray State's Moa Folke carded a career-low 2-under-par 70 at the UC Bearcats Fall Classic at TPC River's Bend in Maineville, Ohio and helped the Racers to a fifth-place finish in the 54-hole event with scores of 319-307-307=933. The Racers fell off the pace of winner and host Cincinnati at 898.

Folke's scores of 79-81-70=230 were good for an 11^th place finish in the field of 50 players. MSU's Sophie Hillier placed 13^th with scores of 79-75-79=233, while Abbie Stamper finished 24^th with rounds of 82-76-80=238. Anna Moore had a spot in 26^th place with rounds of 86-76-78=240. Sydney Trimble placed 29^th with scores of 79-80-83=242.

Jane Watts and Jacklyn Van Meter were in the event as individuals and came up with finishes of 13^th and 34^th place. Watts had scores of 75-77-81=233, while Van Meter carded rounds of 79-83-83=245.

TPC at River's Bend played 6,186 yards and to a par of 72.

The Racers get back on the course at the APSU Intercollegiate (Oct. 12-13) at Clarksville Country Club.
