James Named ADIDAS OVC Player of the Week

Murray State's Ke'Shunan James has been named this week's ADIDAS OVC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances in the Racers' two wins last week to begin the season.
James averaged 27.5 points, six rebounds, 4.5 steals and 2.5 assists per game on nearly 48 percent shooting over the week. James opened the season with a 26-point, six-steal outing against Oakland City. The six steals are a career-high. In MSU's win against Alabama A&M, James scored 29 and added seven boards in the 76-59 win over the Lady Bulldogs. Dating back to last season, James has now scored in double figures nine games and has eight 20-point plus outings.
James was also named College Sports Madness' OVC Women's Basketball Player of the Week as well for her efforts. James and the rest of the Racers continue their season Wednesday when they travel to Normal, Ill., for a road contest against Illinois State.
