Harris Earns Final Specialist Honor of 2015

Senior Pokey Harris was named as the final adidas® Specialist of the Week by the Ohio Valley Conference Sunday for his performance against No. 1 Jacksonville State in the last week of the 2015 season.
Harris returned six kickoffs for a total of 167 yards or 27.8 yards per return in Murray State's season-ending loss at No. 1 Jacksonville State. Three of his returns were for more than 25 yards with a long of 48. The Winchester, Kentucky native finished the season with 859 yards on 38 returns for an average of 22.6 yards per return.
Davis is the fourth Racers this season to be named as Specialist of the Week and sixth Racer overall to earn a weekly honor. Landon Stratton, Janawski Davis and Zach Dean all earned specialists honors this season, while Demetrius Mason was named as Defensive Player of the Week and Elijah Daniel was named as Newcomer of the Week.
