James Earns OVC Freshman of the Week Honor

For the third time this season, Ke'Shunan James was named Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week. Murray State went 1-1 on the week coming from a loss to Eastern Illinois followed by a win against Austin Peay.

Against EIU, she scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds. She dished out four assists, had two blocks and one steal. She then notched her third career double-double with 18 points and a career-high 11 rebounds. She had three steals against the Lady Govs while also going 8-for-9 from the free-throw line.

Murray State will play their final game of the season Saturday Feb. 28 at Skyhawk Arena in Martin, Tennessee.Â
