James Named Madness Mid-Major Player of the Week

Ke'Shunan James was named Madness Mid-Major National Player of the Week by College Sports Madness for her efforts in conference play this week. The Racers went 2-0 defeating Southeast Missouri State at home, and then Austin Peay on the road. Â

During the Southeast Missouri State game, she scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds. She dished out three assists and stole the ball once. James was 56-percent from the field against the Redhawks.
Against Austin Peay, James scored a career-high 31 points, while making a career-high 12 field goals. She tied her career-high seven free-throws made and six assists. She grabbed nine rebounds, had three steals, and one block. She led the team in points, rebounds and assists against the Lady Govs. James was a perfect seven-for-seven from the charity stripe.
MSU will face SIU Edwardsville on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the CFSB Center.Â
