Football Showcases Talents at Pro Day

The Murray State football team hosted its annual Pro Day Tuesday with five graduating seniors showing their stuff for pro scouts in hopes of playing football at the next level.
Linebackers Travis Taylor and Anthony Hayes, defensive lineman Felton Collins, offensive lineman Kamalie Matthews and wide receiver Nevar Griffin all participated in the event. The five Racers competed in multiple events showcasing their athletic and football abilities.
"I would like to thank the NFL scouts who came out today to get a look at a few of our guys," said head coach Mitch Stewart. "We have developed a good relationship with all 32 teams in the NFL and we will do whatever we can to continue to strengthen that relationship. We have a number of former Racers who are active in the NFL right now and hope to continue to recruit and produce those caliber players in the future."
The five Racers now turn their attention to April 30 and the 2015 NFL Draft in Chicago, Illinois. Â The draft will consist of seven rounds and will be carried live on ESPN and the NFL Network.
