Racer Girls Announce Tryouts for 2015-16

The 20015-2016 Racer Girl tryouts will be held Friday, May 1st at 5:30p.m. - 9:30p.m. & Saturday, May 2nd 9:00a.m.- 1:00p.m. in Racer Arena

Tryouts are a two-day process and dancers are required to attend both days in order to be considered for the team.

On Friday, a jazz and hiphop routine combination will be taught and each participant will be required to perform each during their Saturday adution.
The following technical skills will also be judged:

· Double, triple, quad turns

· Fouettes

· Leg hold turns

· Leg holds, kicks, fan and tilt kicks

· Splits

· Tilt leap

· Straight leg/ grand jete leap

· Open/center leap

· Calypso

· Stag

· Turning disc

· Toe-touch

· C-jump/turning c-jump
