Athletics Launch "#WEAreRacers" Campaign

Racer Athletics announced today the launch of the 2015-16 campaign, #WEAreRacers. As a well-known tagline around Murray State, this year the Athletics department is giving the fan-favorite a new twist!

The campaign features a "fan poster" as well as accompanying graphic images for social media and various grassroots promotion. The campaign's theme is centered around the University's motto:

Like the Thoroughbreds we are named for, Racers are SPIRITED and PROUD.
We have the HEART and WILL TO SUCCEED, to GO FURTHER, LEARN MORE
and EMBRACE WISDOM. WE ARE CHAMPIONS who take our place in the
Murray State TRADITION.

The campaign highlights what it means to be a Racer as well as focusing on the attributes of all Murray State's 16 Division I teams. The #WEAreRacers campaign will continue to build throughout the 2015-16 school year though videos, posters, schedule cards, print material, social media and much more.

Please join Racer Athletics this year by using the hashtag's #WEAreRacers, #NoPlaceI'dRatherBe and #GreatDayToBeARacer. Athletics encourages fans to download the social grahpics and share them on their personal accounts. In addition, fan posters will be available to the public for FREE starting 7/17/15 in the Racer ticket office.
