Jackson Signs Pro Contract With Pollitas de Isabela

Former Murray State women's basketball student-athlete Netanya Jackson has signed a professional contract to play basketball for Pollitas de Isabela, of the BSNF in Puerto Rico.
"Over the past three years, Coach Cross and the Murray State coaching staff helped me tremendously," said Jackson.
"When I first came to play for Murray State, I was an immature, temperamental kid who lacked confidence. At the end of my junior year, I remember noticing the change the most. My attitude was better, I had more confidence and I even moved better."
"I'm thankful to my coaches for working with me and being patient. They always took time to help me outside of practice and games. I wouldn't be the person or player I am if it wasn't for their true caring about me and I know if I ever need anything in the future they will still be there for me. I'm truly thankful for that."
In 2014-15, Jackson played in all 29 games and made 22 starts. She averaged seven points and 7.3 rebounds per contest for the Racers. Jackson led the team with 46 blocks and was second on the team shooting 47 percent from the field.
