1/5/2016 9:08:00 AM | Women's Basketball
For the second time this season, Murray State's Ke'Shunan James has been named the ADIDAS OVC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, for her career day in the Racers' 83-79 victory over Morehead State on Saturday in the OVC opener.
James recorded career-highs with 32 points and 12 rebounds in the win, going 10-of-15 from the floor and 5-for-7 from 3-point range. James also added seven made free throws, three assists and a steal in the contest.
This is the second time that James has received the honor this season. Back on Nov. 16, James was named player of the week after her performances in the opening weekend of the season. For the year, James leads MSU in scoring averaging 20.8 points per game and is second in rebounding with 6.3 a contest.
James and the rest of the Racers continue their three-game homestand this week as Tennessee Tech comes to the CFSB Center Jan. 7. Tip is set for 5 p.m.
