Stewart Adds “Friday Night Lights” To Camp Slate

Kids ages 5-11 will have the chance to spend a night with the Murray State football team under the bright lights of Stewart Stadium at the "Friday Night Lights" camps this summer, as part of this year's offerings from Mitch Stewart Football Camps.
"This is a great opportunity for kids to do something very few people get to do and that's play football under the lights at a college stadium," said head coach Mitch Stewart. "We are going to have a great time those nights and the campers will really enjoy all the activities we have planned, in addition to getting to play with and be around our guys. As a father myself, I know sometimes you need a night off and this a great chance for the parents to have a date night and the kids to have a lot of fun."
The 2016 "Friday Night Lights" camps will be on July 22 and 29 at Stewart Stadium from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The cost is just $30 and all campers should bring both cleats and tennis shoes and should wear athletics gear.
The two new camps are in addition to the two Prospect Camps already announced for June 4 and July 23 for rising ninth through 12th graders, recent high school graduates and current junior college players.
