The Murray State volleyball team rallied for a four-set win Saturday afternoon on the road in Charleston, Ill., as the Racers defeated Eastern Illinois 25-27, 25-20, 25-17 and 25-21 at Lantz Arena.

Rachel Giustino led the Racers with a double-double in the victory as she notched a team-high 18 kills and added 12 digs and also three total blocks. Dacia Brown had 15 kills on the day and hit .289 while Katirah Johnson added 10 kills and hit a match-best .571. Johnson also led MSU (16-8, 8-4, OVC) with four total blocks in the win.

The Racers hit .220 in the match and held EIU (12-12, 6-6 OVC) to a .183 hitting percentage. The Racers also held a 6-2 advantage in service aces while committing just one service error. The Panthers committed four serving errors.

Callie Anderton propelled the offense with a career-high 55 assists in the match. Anderton also added a career-best 15 digs. Becca Fernandez led the way for MSU with 26 digs and also had three aces while Alex Kaufmann added 25 digs of her own.

MSU will return home next weekend as it hosts Southeast Missouri and UT Martin Friday and Saturday, respectively. Saturday will be Senior Day at Racer Arena.
