Update on New State-of-the-art Videoboard in CFSB Center

Murray State Director of Athletics Allen Ward provides the following update on the replacement of the center hung scoreboard at the CFSB Center.

"I know our fans are excited about the new state-of-the-art videoboard for the CFSB Center this season, I am as well. It's been a lengthy project, but one that is certainly worth the wait. It will be a really nice upgrade to the facility."

"I received word yesterday that our new board is requiring some additional engineering as it relates to the frame and structure. The boards are actually on site, but additional time is being required as it relates to building the custom frame. I regret the unexpected delay, but want it done right and safety is paramount."

"The new timeline provided to us has the new videoboard installed prior to the home television game against Morehead State on January 25^th. Obviously, I'd like it in sooner, but that's the next available window large enough to allow for tear down, installation and proper testing. I'm disappointed, but a slight delay is a small price to pay to ensure a project of this magnitude is completed accurately and the structures integrity is flawless. It's still going to be a fantastic addition for Racer Basketball and the CFSB Center."
