The Murray State men's golf squad finished play in the Loyola Snowman Getaway at Palm Valley Golf Course in Goodyear, Arizona on Monday.

Avery Edwards and Matthew Winder paced the Racers with a pair of even-par 72's in the final round, while Austin Knight had MSU's top finish with a spot in 64^th place. Knight Finished with scores of 75-72-75=222, while Edwards finished 69^th with scores of 74-77-72=223. Winder and Gabe Wheeler shared a spot in 78^th place. Winder had scores of 79-74-72=225 and
Wheeler had scores of 70-75-80=225. Matthew Zakutney placed 91^st with scores of 77-76-78=231.

The Racers placed 16^th with team scores of 296-297-297=890.

UConn won the team title at 834, with Eastern Michigan (941), Elon (847), Arkansas State and Northern Illinois (849) making up the top-5.

Kyle Rodes of Eastern Michigan was the medalist with scores of 69-64-70=203.

The Racers are back in action (March 13-14) at the Grover Page Classic at Jackson Country Club in Jackson, Tennessee.
