First Pitch
The Racers make their final road trip of the regular season Tuesday as they travel to Memphis for the first time since 2014. MSU is coming off a 1-2 weekend at Morehead State while the Tigers lost 2-of-3 at East Carolina. Tuesday will also be the final non-conference matchup of the season for both schools.
Inside the Matchup
MSU won the last meeting between the two, last season at Reagan Field, 10-6. Former Tiger Tyler Dixon tied the school and OVC record with four doubles in the win against his former team in 2016. The Racers are 18-32 all-time in Memphis and are looking for their first road win in the series since 2008.
Going, Going, Gone
Behind the strength of their 13 home runs over the weekend at Morehead State, the Racers have now tied the all-time program record for team home runs in a single season with 69. This season's mark is tied along with 1981 for the most homers in one year.
