Withers Keeps Setting Records - First Racer Soccer Number Retired

Harriet Withers of the Murray State Soccer women's soccer team had her jersey retired last Saturday, as she joins Scottie Ingram as the only non-Football/Basketball player to have their number retired in Racer history.
An accomplished forward for the Racers the last four years, Withers has seen the program grown exponentially since being recruited from Murwillumbah, Australia.
"I'm very happy for Harriet, she deserves the recognition for her outstanding achievements here at Murray State. It's been a pleasure working with her through her career, her work ethic, enthusiasm and hunger are second to none. She has always pushed others and helped players improve their own game too. Hatty has set the bar high for current and future players and I'm excited to see others chase her stats!She's a down to earth, humble young woman who will do great things beyond college," said head coach Matt Lodge
Ending her career, Withers stands as the all-time career leader in Points (89), Goals (37), and Game-Winning-Goals (13). Withers is also a three-time All-OVC award winner and has seen three straight regular season championships and two NCAA appearances .
