James Honored with Fourth Player of the Week This Season

Ke'Shunan James received her fourth ADIDAS OVC Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor this season Tuesday morning, announced by the league office. James had another big offensive week for Murray State as she averaged 29.5 points and 10 rebounds per game.
In addition to those numbers, James also added six total steals and shot 49 percent from the line. She began the week with her eighth double-double of the season as she scored a game-high 34 points and grabbed 12 rebounds against Morehead State. James' 16 made field goals against the Eagles were the third-most made shots for a single game in program history.
James then followed that up with a 25-point, eight-rebound performance in the win over Eastern Kentucky Saturday. James went 8-of-17 from the floor against the Colonels while also adding three steals.
It is the 11th player of the week honor for James during her career. Thursday, James and the rest of the Racers travel to Southeast Missouri to face the Redhawks at the Show Me Center at 5:15 p.m.
