Racers Put A Wrap On the Fall Season At GreyStone

The Murray State Racers play their final men's golf event of the fall season Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 15-16) at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate at GreyStone Golf Course in Dickson, Tennessee, the former site of the Ohio Valley Conference Championship from 2010-13.

A year ago, the Racers placed third with a score of 874, just a shot behind Missouri State and UT Martin who tied for the title at 873. The event also marked a win for MSU's Austin Knight on scores of 73-67-70=210 (6-under-par). MSU's Avery Edwards also played well in 2017 with rounds of 69-74-74=217.

The Racers send out a starting five of Austin Knight, Gabe Wheeler, Connor Coombs, Avery Edwards and Dalton Bagwell. Coach Eddie Hunt is also entering three individuals including Justin Wendling, James Boone and Quinn Eaton.
