Murray State women's tennis coach Jorge Caetano announced the signing of three student-athletes who will join the Racers in the fall of 2019. Marit Kreugel, Samantha Muller, and Natalie Slezakova all look to enroll at MSU next fall and participate in fall 2019 and spring 2020 action for Racer Tennis.
Â
"I am always looking for girls who are eager to learn and who are committed to excellence both on the tennis court and in the classroom," said Caetano. "These three young ladies have those characteristics. They are all top 10 players in their age group in their home countries, but every one of them will bring something different and unique to our program and I believe they will fit right into our team's culture. " Â

Marit Kreugel – (Vleuten, The Netherlands / Leidsche Rijn College)
Â
Caetano on Kreugel: "Although Marit is a very young player (she will be only 16 when she joins us next fall), she has already proven she can compete at a very high level by winning matches and competitions playing against much older players. I believe her best tennis is yet to come I am super excited to see how she is going to develop in the next few years."
Â
Samantha Muller – (Johannesburg, South Africa / Northcliff High School)
Â
Caetano on Muller: "Sam is a great player and super athletic. Her passion for the game and her competitiveness are the two things that stand out the most about her and I am confident she will bring many positive things to our program. She is a top junior player in her home country and I can't wait to see her competing in the navy and gold."
Â
Natalie Slezakova – (Zlin, Czech Republic / Gymnazium Zlin)
Â
Caetano on Slezakova: "Natalie will bring a lot of international experience to our program. Besides being a great singles player, she is a fantastic doubles player with 2 ITF Juniors doubles titles and a couple more finals this year alone. She is used to competing against the best tennis players in Europe and I am confident she will have an amazing college career here at MSU."
