Adebayo Nets Third Newcomer Honor

For the third time this season, Murray State junior Evelyn Adebayo has been named as the OVC Women's Basketball Newcomer of the Week.
Adebayo led Murray State in both points and rebounds on the week with 18.5 and 8.5 respectively. The junior had 17 and eight against Southern Illinois, to go along with a 6-for-6 performance at the free throw line. At 18th-ranked Kentucky, Adebayo had 20 points and nine rebounds and was an impressive 7-for-11 from the floor. The London native currently leads the Racers on the year with 17.6 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.
Adebayo and teammates return to action Friday when they close out their non-conference slate at 10th-ranked Tennessee.
