Ana Picchi Signs With Racer Golf

Murray State women's golf coach Velvet Milkman announced the signing of Ana Garcia Picchi of Sevilla, Spain.

Picchi will join the Racers in the fall of 2019 as a freshman.

"I am very excited to welcome Ana to the Racer golf family," Milkman said. "She is a talented golfer that has a very high upside of potential. She strikes the ball well and has a good touch around the green. In addition, she's a good student and a person of high character and she'll be a very good addition to our team."

Picchi joins the Racers from the Entreolivos School where she competed in several events both in country and out.

She posted a win at the Finish Open on scores of 76-74-76=226 and had a second place showing at the Circuito Juvenile Tournament with a 77. She also had two other top-5 finishes as a junior.

Picchi joins fellow Spaniard, MSU junior Lucila Puente de Austria, who also hails from Seville.
