James Takes Home Another Player of the Week Honor

Tuesday morning, Ke'Shunan James received her fifth ADIDAS OVC Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor this season after another incredible week playing in her final two home games at Murray State.
James averaged 30.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and three assists per game in the Racers' two games last week while shooting 50 percent (20-of-40) from the floor and making 19 free throws.
James began the week with 24 points, seven boards, three assists and a steal against Jacksonville State February 15, two nights later on Senior Night, James closed her CFSB career with a phenomenal 37 points on 13-for-21 shooting while also adding six rebounds and three assists in the win over Tennessee Tech. In addition to her OVC honor, James was also named the College Sports Madness' Player of the Week for the second time this season on Monday as well.
It is the 12th player of the week honor for James during her career as she and the rest of the Racers prepare to close the regular season this week against Eastern Illinois Thursday and Austin Peay Saturday. Currently, MSU is sitting in the eighth in the league standings, which is the final spot to qualify for the OVC Tournament in Evansville next week.
