Just The Facts
The Murray State softball team fell in its final game of the 2018 Trojan Classic Sunday, 6-2 to UAB, at the Trojan Softball Complex in Troy, Alabama.
How It Happened

The Racers finally scored in the third inning when Leah Kesel reached home on a passed ball. MSU then attempted a rally in the seventh, but only scored one run, off a Brenna Finck double, and fell 6-2.
In The Circle
Haven Campbell allowed four earned runs in 2.1 innings to take the loss for MSU, while Grace Vaughn gave up two in relief over 2.0 innings. Amber Van Duyse was solid for the Racers in closing out the game and allowed no runs on just one hit with no walks over the final 2.2 frames.
Offensive Highlights
Jensen Striegel led Murray State by going 2-for-3 at the dish, while Lillie Goetz and Brenna Finck each doubled. Lexi Jones was officially 0-for-1 on the day, but did draw a game-high two walks.
