On Thursday (Feb. 8) at the CFSB Center, the Murray State basketball teams host rival Austin Peay in a women's and men's basketball doubleheader at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. It's always a big game when the Racers and Govs tangle and that means the games this week are the next clashes in the Heritage Bank Battle of the Border rivalry series!Â

Racer Nation, you can get involved and help us capture another Battle of the Border title. We are now in out Week of Giving Fan Challenge (Feb. 2-8). All gifts made to Racer Athletics this week will count in the competition with APSU.Â

So help the Racers raise some funds for our various teams and help the Racers win the second annual Heritage Bank Battle of the Border. MSU won the traveling trophy for the 2016-17 school and year and are now making a push to win it again in 2017-18. Coming out of the fall portion of the competition, the series is currently tied 9-9. The Racers have won points in women's soccer, women's cross country and volleyball.

Also, please save the date for another fan competition in the Battle of the Border and that's MSU Athletics annual blood drive which will be held on March 28.
