The Racers open the month of May by closing their five-game home stand against Alabama A&M. MSU is coming off a series victory against Belmont over the weekend at Reagan Field while the Bulldogs swept all three games at home against Mississippi Valley St. AAMU has won just once on the road this season. MSU has 15 home victories.
Inside the Matchup
AAMU's 4-1 victory over the Racers back in February was its first ever in the series and was also the only time the two have met in Huntsville. MSU is 4-0 all-time at Reagan Field against the Bulldogs, including an 11-3 victory back in 2016. Before that, MSU swept a three-game set back in 2013, outscoring the Bulldogs by 26 combined runs.
