GoRacers.com: Tell us a little bit about what you are doing this summer at your internship.
Will Nalley: My internship with NuTech Seed is focused on building relationships with farmers in my area with myself and the Nutech brand. In addition, I also research different varieties of corn on a five-acre test plot.Â
GR: How will this internship help you get a job in your field after graduation?
WN: The foundations of this internship should apply to any kind of job/career I want to pursue in the future. The fundamentals of sales and personal relationship skills don't change.Â
GR: What is something you have already learned this summer that you did not know before?
WN: I've certainly gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience through this internship, but what really sticks out to me is the concept that the industry is based solely on service to clients. There's a special fellowship that is created when you do things the right way and it seems to me that people will support you and your career wherever you end up.Â
GR: What is the one thing you want to take away from this experience?
WN: It's important for me to learn to be a man of integrity. I never need to over promise or under deliver on something. People will constantly build their perception of myself based on my words and actions. It's essential that I do everything I can to make a positive outlook for myself as indisputable as possible.Â
GR: What has been your favorite thing that you have done so far?
WN: NuTech itself has been very good at investing and believing in me. I've got a very nice truck to use as well as the flexibility to be able to get the job done on my times and terms. I'm thankful and fortunate to have the respect that I do from NuTech.Â
