Â
"I am very excited to get the kids in and get the year started, train them up and help create excitement with Murray State Athletics," Scott said. "I've been in cheerleading my entire life and that's what my wife, Joelle, and I do, we love cheerleading and it's a big part of our lives. I'm very happy to be working with the student-athletes in our cheer program at Murray State."

Scott has certifications through the United States All Star Federation in all levels of cheerleading and his expertise makes him an obvious choice to become the head coach of the MSU cheer program.
Â
He cheered at his alma mater Cumberland University and later professionally with the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers. Â

Â
