Adebayo Picks Up 10th OVC Newcomer Accolade

For the sixth consecutive week and 10th time total this season, Evelyn Adebayo has been named as the OVC Newcomer of the Week.
Adebayo averaged 19.5 points and 11.0 rebounds over a 1-1 week for the Racers. The junior poured in 23 points with 13 rebounds in the win at EKU, then added 16 and 9 in the loss at Austin Peay. The England native shot 41.7-percent from the floor on the week and nailed 5 of her 15 three-point attempts. She was also 4-for-5 at the free throw line with two assists, and three steals on the week.
The Racers return to action Thursday when they host UT Martin at The Bank at 5 p.m.
