Adebayo Nets Fourth Straight Newcomer Award

For the fourth consecutive week and eighth time this season, Evelyn Adebayo of the Murray State women's basketball team has been named as the OVC Newcomer of the Week.
Adebayo averaged a double-double for the fifth straight week with her 13th double-double of the season at Tennessee Tech. The transfer had a weekly high of 25 points at Tennessee Tech and 15 rebounds at Jacksonville State. In the loss at Tech, Adebayo was a solid 9-for-15 from the floor and 6-for-8 at the charity stripe. For the week, she again shot over 50-percent, overall making 15 of 24 buckets to put her percentage on the week at 54.2
Adebayo and teammates return to action Thursday when they host Eastern Illinois at the CFSB Center at 5 p.m.
