Golf Channel Announces Racers NCAA Assignment Today

The Murray State Racers find out their NCAA assignment when the 2019 NCAA Women's Golf Championship regionals are announced live on The Golf Channel beginning at 4:30 p.m. CT, Wednesday, April, 24.

The Racers will be sent to one of four regional sites (May 6-8) including: Opelika, Alabama (Saugahatchee Country Club), Cle Elum, Washington (Tumble Creek Golf Club), Norman, Oklahoma (Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club) and East Lansing, Michigan (Forest Akers West Golf Course).

The Racers and Coach Velvet Milkman are making their sixth NCAA appearance since their first in 2009 and this marks a third consecutive season to earn the honor of playing in a regional. The Racers are coming off their 12th Ohio Valley Conference championship title.

Golf Central will announce the 72 teams and 24 individuals selected to compete in the four NCAA Women's Regional Championships (18 teams and six individuals per regional). 24 teams and 12 individuals will advance from regional sites to the national championships.
