Former Racer Jared Wolfe Wins PGA Korn Ferry Tour Event In Bahamas

Former Murray State men's golfer, Jared Wolfe, brought home the championship of the Korn Ferry Tour's Bahamas Great Abaco Classic at Royal Blue Golf Club in Nassau, Bahamas.

Wolfe's final score line was 67-69-65-69—270 (-18), which was good for a 4-shot win for his first tour win in his career on the Korn Ferry Tour, in what is one step just below the PGA Tour. Wolfe played previously on the PGA TOUR Latinoamérica where he had three wins in three years.

The importance of winning on the Kern Ferry Tour wasn't lost on Wolfe, a Louisville native, who was part of Murray State's last Ohio Valley Conference championship in 2010.

"No argument, it's definitely the biggest win of my career," Wolfe stated to PGATour.com. "It was so cool to finish the job, especially in style with a birdie at the last. I knew coming into today, if I played as well as I know I can, someone would have to do something special to catch me. I turned out to be right on that. I'm just very blessed to be in this position."

With this win, Wolfe earns 500 Korn Ferry Tour points and the top prize of $108,000.
