2/8/2020 5:17:00 PM | Rifle
The ninth-ranked Murray State rifle team didn't have the day it was hoping for during smallbore portion of the 2020 OVC Rifle Championship Saturday at the Skyhawk Rifle Range in Martin, Tennessee. The Racers shot several points below their average with a 2288, but are still within striking distance of Morehead State's 2293 with the air rifle portion of the event still to come Sunday.
Matias Kiuru led the Racers on the day with a 579, just two shots off Jacksonville State's Michael Dietz who took home the individual title Saturday. Dana Buesseler followed for Murray State at 573, while Shelby Huber and Meike Drewell each fired a 568. Anna Scheer rounded out the squaded shooters for Murray State Saturday at 565.
