Racers Play In Jacksonville, Florida At UNF Collegiate

The Murray State women's golf squad spends the week (March 8-10) at the UNF Intercollegiate with a 54-hole event at the Jacksonville Golf & Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Racers are joined in the field of 15 teams by Cal State Fullerton, Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Daytona State, Delaware, Eastern Kentucky, Georgetown, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville, host North Florida, Sam Houston, Seton Hall, Troy, South Alabama and Western Kentucky.

The Racers send out a team that includes (Sr.) Raeysha Surendran, (Fr.) Eliza Kho, (Fr.) Ana Picchi, (4) (Fr.) Payton Carter and (Sr.) Lucila Puente Rodriguez de Austria.

Surendran, is coming off her second honor as Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week. She placed 12th at the Kiawah Island Classic (March 3) on scores of 76-72-68=216. She is at the top in the OVC currently with a stroke average of 73.5.

The Jacksonville course is a par-72 layout that will play 5,926 yards for the event.
